Singapores new low-cost carrier, Scoot, has made bookings available for airfares on its first two routes between Sydney or the Gold Coast and Singapore.
Opened to the public at 6am on 22 March Singapore-time, Scoot offered its first departures from 26 June (Sydney) and 27 June (Gold Coast) through till 27 October 2012.
The commencement of sales is a huge milestone for Scoot, so we wanted to celebrate in a big way.
Besides being a fantastic deal, $88 each way, including taxes, its also a statement of intent: that Scoot will continue to offer exceptional value and give more people more opportunity to travel farther, Scoots CEO, Campbell Wilson said.
Scoot made use of social networking giant Facebook in order to promote its product and allowed the public to bid the price of airfares down.
