The Hawaii Tourism Association (HiTA) is pleased to announce their latest appointment of Paul Haselmayr representing FTI Touristik in Linz, Austria, as HiTA's latest global tourism ambassador.
FTI Tours has been including Hawaii in their program for many years, and Paul Haselmayr is also General Secretary of the Visit USA committee in Austria. FTI Tours sells to most Austrian travel agencies and is a known and major player in the Austrian travel industry with more than 25 years of experience in selling travel to the United States.
Mr. Haselmayr said: "FTI Tours is pleased to be appointed to the Hawaii Tourism Association ambassador program. FTI Touristik Austria specializes in individual tailored packages for our guests, and our team will customize Hawaii and North America packages for our travel agent clients. Our new Hawaii skin close is ideal for those that are interested in green issues. We include bicycle and snorkel tours on Oahu, Kaui, Maui, and the Big Island. Our guests have the opportunity to become part of a program we call "Preserve Hawaii,â which includes cleaning of beaches and helping with the maintenance of rain forests. Our popular 17-day trip, called âMaritimes Hawaii' is ideal for those loving water activities, and we also added a new program at the Aulani Disney Resort and Spa in Ko Olina.
HiTA President Juergen Thomas Steinmetz said: âWe are very pleased to welcome Paul Hasselmayr to our growing tourism ambassador program as we continually reach out to potential new markets for Hawaii. With 5 weeks of paid vacations, high incomes, and a visa waiver privilege, Austria is an ideal emerging destination for Hawaii. With easy access from Vienna to many US gateways, the land of Aloha is reachable to the average Austrian vacationer.
âWe look forward to working with Mr. Haselmayr and our members in Hawaii to grow business for our members and for the state.â
