Travel Counsellors is celebrating after receiving national recognition by customers in its Netherlands operation, picking up three awards at the countrys national travel awards.
The company, which launched its Netherlands operation in 2005 and now has 110 Travel Counsellors running their own businesses from home across the country, were first time attendants at the Zoover awards but stole the show after receiving the titles of Best Travel Agency Group and Most Popular Travel Agency. The company then went on to pick up the overall award for the highest customer service score from the general public of all 40 winners including a raft of tour operators, suppliers and airlines.

The companys unique business model of providing unrivalled support to its agents in all areas of their business which allows them to focus on building personal relationships with their customers has been extremely well received in the Netherlands. As a result Travel Counsellors is now the largest firm of independent travel consultants in the country.
