Sydney suburb, Chatswood is hoping to turn tourism heads towards its district after launching its inaugural tourism campaign, It all starts at Chatswood.
Although commonly known as the North Shores shopping mecca, the ads unveiled this week by Destination NSW and Willoughby City Council aim to draw in day and weekend break visitors from regional New South Wales.
As well as television spots, the new tourism approach also included the launch of a website alongside print, radio and outdoor advertising.
The development of a tourism campaign for Chatswood is the culmination of the growth of Chatswood, the opening of The Concourse and the obtainment of the exclusive Australian season of the English National Ballet, Willoughby Mayor Pat Reilly said.
This inaugural tourism campaign aims to let the rest of NSW and beyond know about one of Sydneys most holistic destinations offering shopping, dining and entertainment.
