Restructuring of Destination NSW will hopefully reduce duplication, improve efficiency, foster innovation and reduce reliance on external agencies, according to chief executive Sandra Chipchase.
Announced to staff yesterday, the new structure will see Marketing and Communications separate into two divisions, support for Digital Marketing, Regional NSW activities and Sector Development stepped up and the start of a new Industry Partnership Division.
Ms Chipchase said the new structure design will position the organisation well in capitalising on new opportunities Destination NSW can deliver to achieve the Governments goal of doubling the overnight visitor expenditure to NSW by 2020.
The new structure will also see immediate recruitment of new roles.
