The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has partnered with CREATETALENT to provide young students a professional insight into the corporate travel industry.
Beginning in August 2012, the partnership is designed to link the academic with the corporate travel world to assist young talent reach their potential through a professionally supported, one to one relationship with a mentor.
An online matchmaking platform enables students to connect with a mentor of their choice based on their area of interest.
ACTE executive director Ron DiLeo said the new partnership unites the gap between the academic and professional travel environment.
It hits the mark as a response to current market trends in the Talent Management and Human Resources arena and nicely compliments two new initiatives, Around the World in 80 hours programme and the Three under 33 awards.
CREATETALENT founder and owner Christine Dunton-Tinnus said the partnership would benefit both parties.
We are excited about this unique partnership with ACTE, which is the perfect fit, and we look forward to working with ACTE members, Ms Dunton-Tinnus said.
