The World Health Organization (WHO) has not recommended that any travel or trade restrictions be applied to Uganda following an outbreak of the Ebola virus in the Kibaale district in the western part of the country.
Since the beginning of the outbreak last month, there have been 36 suspected cases of the virus, which has thus far claimed 16 lives.
No cases of the disease have been reported in capital city, Kampala.
Most well known for its population of the rare mountain gorilla, Uganda is home to the highest mountain range in Africa (the Mountains of the Moon in the Rwenzori National Park), is the source of the Nile River and offers some of the best white water rafting in the world.
Lonely Planet ranked Uganda as the number one country to visit this year.
