In its first year (2012) Drumheller's DinoFest was a tremendous success welcoming over 5,500 attendees with a marketing campaign leading up to the event that engaged over 750,000 people from across Western Canada.
The Drumheller Festival Society is roaring about the return of this annual festival celebrating the palaeontology culture of Drumheller and the Canadian Badlands. This festival offers a variety of family-friendly activities from June 7-9, 2013.
Both Disney/Pixar and the BBC are working on multi-million dollar blockbuster movies slated for release in late 2013 early 2014, sure to boost anything prehistoric.
One of the attractions to DinoFest 2013 are the Friday & Saturday night outdoor Dino themed movies on the big screen â especially when it's right under the nose of the World's Largest Dinosaur.
