During the first two nights, guests lodge at the Hotel California in PalmSprings, spending the first day cruising on bicycles and lounging by the poolbefore departing for dinner at Bernie's. On day two of the itinerary, guests ascendthe Palm SpringsAerial Tramway while taking in the stunning views during the two and a halfmile journey to the Mountain Station, Mt. San Jacinto State Park. Guests will then embark upon a short hike onthe Desert View Trail and enjoy lunch at the top before taking the tram backdown to the Valley Station. Once back atthe hotel, there is time to relax by the pool before setting out for thedowntown walking tour of Palm Springs and dinner.On day three, the group departs for Death Valley National Park, aregion rich in contrasts and bold in dramatic scenery. While in Death Valley, guests will hike GoldCanyon, bike to Harmony Borax Works - an old ghost town with adobe buildings -and explore Mustard Canyon. Continuingon the tour of Death Valley, the group stops at Badwater, 282 feet below sealevel, to breathe in the sights of Telescope Peak, 11,049 feet above sealevel. While in the National Park, guestswill experience the spring-fed thermal waters while spending two nights at TheRanch at Furnace Creek.On day five, the group continues north through Death Valleywith stops at Salt Creek and Ubehebe Crater, then travels east to visit Scotty'sCastle. After a tour of the Castle andlunch along the way, it's time to head south for Las Vegas! Guests will enjoy a night at the Bellagio and experience a thrilling rideaboard a helicopter for a sunset flight over the strip as the city sparklesbelow.
